HAVE YOU EVER IT VISITED GUANAJUATO?

To the west the state of Jalisco, San Luis Potosi to the north, the east by the State of Queretaro and south the state of Michoacan. It has an area of 30,491 km2. This extension occupies the twenty-second among the states in the country. If you compare its size with that of others, Guanajuato Chihuahua worth eight times and seven times larger than Tlaxcala.

Guanajuato is located within three major physiographic provinces and inombrables.
In the north, the Bureau of the Centre, in the northeast, the Sierra Madre Oriental and in south central, the Neovolcanic. The Bureau of the Centre is open plains interrupted by isolated volcanic mountains. Notable Ojuelos Plains with their hills and small mountains. It consists of flat land filled with alluvium, where agriculture is prosperous. In the northeast portion highlights the Sierra Gorda and abruptada volcanic topography. The province of the Sierra Madre Oriental, located in the northwest of the state, occupies 5% of the surface of the body with high hills, mountains, valleys and deep ravines. The Sierra Madre Oriental is the type of sedimentary limestone, but with volcanic cover.

The Volcanic Axis province holds 45% of the state's area, is formed by extensive volcanic mountain cones, shields and boilers as well as vast plains formed by deposits. Bajio Guanajuato is remarkable alluvial plains formed by deep, steep hills also highlight high, plains and ridges, shield volcanoes and lakes

It consists of five mountain ranges: Sierra Gorda High Plains region of the central highlands and valleys Bajio.
